Camp fire

Burning night!

Last night, we had a great camp fire. It was unforgettable memories.
We played water relay, tug of war, shoulder to shoulder game with an attractive MC Sam. First of all, we will talk about water relay, Water relay is that every team members line up and deliver water. The goal of this game is trying not to spill out water. One of our classmates, Ji-man drank water to keep it. That was a good idea, but his team lost. Second game is tug of war. We call it in Korean 줄다리기. It helped us to improve our teamwork. Many people fell down on the grass and hurt their palm but no one complained. We all enjoyed it. Our last game was shoulder to shoulder. This game is that passing the paper without using hands. Each group all made a big round. And first person put a paper between shoulder and cheek, and then passed around.

After the game, we started to make smores with Darren and assistants. We’ve never heard about smores before. So it was very interesting experience. This cookie tastes like chocopie in Korea. We will tell you about how to make smores. First, you prepare marshmallows, chocolates, biscuits. Second, you melt the marshmallow. Put chocolate on the biscuit and then put hot marshmallow on the chocolate and covered it with another biscuit and squeeze it. Enjoy your smores!

3 favorite parts of the Gachon Global Leaders English Immersion Camp

Hi, it’s already last week at camp.
Today, I thought about 3 favorite part of this camp. I hope you also have good experience at this camp.

1. Shall we dance?

We had fantastic salsa party last sun day. It was very fun. Everyone was laughing screaming and they seemed like enjoyed that a lot. Many guys dressed up neatly and girls put some make up on.
When I learned salsa from Sam and Vicky, I didn’t expect to fun but it has toxicity because I still cannot stop the salsa step and move. What about you guys? Are you still dancing on your dream?

And we have king and queen of salsa night in class D. I am very proud of you guys~! XD

2. fun Activity classes

If we had only listening and reading classes, this camp might be boring. The thing what makes this camp exciting and interesting is definitely afternoon classes such as drama, music, job skill, presentation, movie, blog writing, debate and baking. Learning something like that in English is new experience for me and it was more natural than I thought. Actually I kind of worried about that before. For example, when I knew we have baking, I thought It must be difficult baking with recipe and explain in English but because of that, I learned a lot of new word about baking and enjoyed that time

3. making new friends

How many people do you know in this camp? I am sure I know more than half of the students in this camp. If we did not have conversation lounge, most of us still only know well our class students but there was chances to talk much with new people. (Conversation group is mixed all classes students randomly) Is there anything more important except knowing new people and having good relationship with them? Love you my precious new friends
